Fastest man on earth

Everybody witnessing how he won through an ease. Everybody enjoy how he entertain the crowd with his trademark shooting stars. Everybody just have one thing that is to accept that he is the fastest runner on earth now. By the record he set, by the distance of his opponent, he'll surely can be catch easily in few years ahead.

Yes, we are talking about the triple Olympic gold medalist and world record holder from reggae boys country, Usain Bolt. The fastest man on earth. In Beijing, we witnessed he broke his own 100m record. Not enough with that, he broke the 200m record set by Michael Johnson of United States of America, a record that many said hard to be broken. But Usain Bolt did in style. In addition to his superb performance in Olympic, he completed it with his mates of 4x100m relay where he running as the 3rd runner. The quartet also broke an Olympic record. Thanks to co-operation and hard work from everybody including his team mates, coach and also supporters.

As a Malaysian, i also have nothing but to respect this fastest man on earth, Usain Bolt. I really want to see his performance in this coming Zurich track and field. Yes, there are indeed a lot of prizes await but for him the most important thing is to be running on that track and field. Thats just simply an honest and truly champion attitude.

Waiting for the first Olympic gold

I guess every Malaysian was curiously wait for badminton Olympic final match between world number one, Lin Dan and our Malaysian hero, Lee Chong Wei. Every badminton fans not only in Malaysian glued to television not only because this is an olympic final match but it was expected to be the most intriguing match between 1st rank and 2nd rank badminton player in the world.

After the match started, Malaysian hope is high as sky. Because this is the only chance Malaysia could win our first olympic gold medal in history. On paper, both player was equally match although Lin Dan hasnt lost any set in this Beijing olympic prior to this final match. Lee Chong Wei was also impressive by beating hard fought, Sony Dwi Koncoro and skilled Korean player, Lee Hyun Il.

I dont have to go in detail about the match because i knew everybody whom watch it will not satisfied of that match. Not because we felt ashame or un-motivated by Lee Chong Wei performance but because it was the day called "Lin Dan Day". Everything Lin Dan does was a simply perfect. It wasnt a beautiful and entertaining badminton match but it was a match that fight for olympic gold medal. And we could see Lin Dan does want it more, he want to win the gold medal in front of his home crowd. Lin Dan motivation was a lot higher and it kills Lee Chong Wei spirit of Malaysia Boleh.

Lin Dan knew Lee Chong Wei strength is in front of the net. So he doesnt give any chances for Lee Chong Wei to play the ball in front of the net. We can see Lin Dan will try to smash or dropshot the ball to end of court, then the return ball from Lee Chong Wei will only go as far as to the front court. It was the game Lin Dan wanted to, it was his strategy spotted and Lee Chong Wei has nothing to be ashamed.

Above all, we are proud with Lee Chong Wei. But for badminton fans, it was a game of Lin Dan. Anyone who go into that match will fail to win if Lin Dan plays like that. Olympic badminton final match the conclusion was Lin Dan outplayed Chong Wei.

Malaysia Cup

Everyone knows that football is the most popular sports in Malaysia. In Malaysia, the top level of achievement in a tournament were to win a Malaysia cup. Malaysia cup is undoubtedly a legendary trophy that being fighting on from 1980's until now. Our legendary and superb footballer, Allahyarham Mokhtar Dahari have won this cup with Selangor few times at his playing age. Everyone was proud to win this cup because this legendary cup shows your credibility and talent. This cup is belong to everybody if you win it, the player, the management, the backroom staff, the fans ultimately and also to all the people of the state.

In Malaysia, our top league was known as Super League which consist of 12 teams. Most of the team were a state team and some of them were a club which represent state of their origin. For example, Johor Corporation has a team called Johor FC in this tournament. A club participation is being taken seriously lately because in a club from Selangor, MPPJ have won the Malaysia cup before. It shows that no matter who you are and what team you are playing, everybody want to win.

Malaysia cup 2008 has reach the semi-final leg, where 4 team just one step away from the final. This 4 team that still compete in this tournament was Johor FC, Selangor, Kedah and Terengganu. To be exact, leg 1 has finished and Selangor and Kedah respectively has an advantage to go through to final because of their goal advantage. But everyone knows, football is unpredictable. Sometimes you are leading 3-0, but after the final whistle blow you could lose 4-3. The ball is round, so it doesnt depend on anything. You could be ahead or behind but what is important is to play until the final whistle blow out.

23 August will be the day of final match of Malaysia Cup. The match will be held at National Stadium Bukit Jalil. As a fan of Selangor, i would very much to see my supported team go through and win back this cup which is belong to Kedah as they was the last winner of this cup in 2007. Come on Selangor. We can do it. Bring back the Malaysia Cup!
